I feel compelled to reach out and thank all those alumni, players and families who have reached out to my family and me over this past week. The congratulations and warm wishes have been overwhelming. We say often, but it is so true, that Washington and Lee is a special place and it’s the people that make it such. <br /> <br />Sunday night we began our off-season with great eagerness and excitement as the 2012 season is under way. If this beginning is any indication of things to come it will be one of the strongest groups to ever take Wilson field. The energy and enthusiasm was unmatched.<br /><br />These next few weeks will be crucial to completing a strong 2012 recruiting class. We received ED1 decisions and acceptance of a group of young men that we are very excited about.
